WHAT IS NOVENA YOUTH RALLY?

Novena Youth Rally is an annual event that brings youths of all faiths together to celebrate life! It has been one of the biggest youth events since the Redemptorist Mission Team established it in 1990.

After over two years of hiding behind screens and masks, the Novena Youth Rally is back in-person! This year, we’re coming back strong! You can enjoy a kebab and bubble tea as you shop at the flea market filled with local artisans or hang with your friends under the stars. So what are you waiting for? Rally your community and join us on 5 September as we reconnect, refresh, and reignite at NYR 2022!

Reconnect

A common space for everyone to gather and connect with God regardless of where they are in life together with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Refresh

In this bustling world, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and pressured by earthly concerns. Sometimes, it’s worth it to stop, take a break and just restart to enjoy the beauty of life.

Reignite

After being rejuvenated with God’s love, it sparks the fire and our desire to want to grow closer to God and bridge a stronger bridge with Him to last.

NYR was a really different experience in terms of the format and my role in it. i found the event extremely enjoyable and felt amazed when it all came together. I'm glad youths like me get to experience such an event and even participate in it.

This year’s Novena Youth Rally, I felt was an event that allowed a good array of youths from all over Singapore to gather, have meaningful and fun engagement, and be encouraged in the living of their faith by realizing that their relationship with God connects with their actions and choices in life. I thank God that He has given me the opportunity to be part of it.

NYR 2022 in all honesty is the very first catholic mass youth gathering of its kind that I’ve attended. It was quite heartwarming to see that there were many youths like me that share such deep relationship w God. It was such a good time that pulled me towards God even more and make you fall in love with our faith.

NYR 2019 was an enriching experience that gave me a community to journey together. A community who supports me, attend Mass and such events together. The stories of the speakers provided me different perspectives and insights to people from different backgrounds. It was very fresh and new to listen to.

I was at my most vulnerable in NYR 2019. Opening myself up to God became much easier as I could not handle things in life by myself. Throughout the rally, I was in tears, and I felt the emptiness in my heart, but all these was in the presence of God. It felt comfortable; I was sad but comfortable because God is there.

Youth rally was a day for me to connect with God in a different way from regular sessions. The praise & worship and sharing sessions enabled me to experience the power of Christ being manifested in the Youth of the church. This heartening experience made me excited to continue to journey with Christ alongside like-minded people of similar age.
